Our work process

Introduction: At Fx And Color Studio, we understand that your manuscript is your masterpiece, and we treat it as such. We begin by carefully reviewing your final edited manuscript, which we view as the starting point for our collaboration.

Character design and Layout: Once we've agreed on the budget and signed the contract, we'll begin the character design and layout phase. Our experienced team understands the importance of creating engaging characters and a layout that complements your story. We'll provide you with rough sketches for your approval, and we won't move forward until we've captured your vision. We recognize that revisions are a natural part of the creative process, and we're committed to working with you until you're completely satisfied with the characters and layout.

Discussion: In the second step, our creative team will review your manuscript and discuss the layout, character stylization, and color style options. We take a collaborative approach to this process, ensuring that your vision is fully realized. Once we've had an in-house discussion, our creative head will reach out to you to share our ideas and gather your input. We value your opinion and believe that your feedback is crucial to achieving the best possible outcome for your project.

Sketching and coloring: Once we've finalized the characters and layout, we'll move on to sketching and coloring. We take great care in bringing your characters to life with vibrant colors and attention to detail. We'll provide you with sketches for your approval, and we won't proceed to the coloring stage until you're completely satisfied with the sketches. We understand that revisions are a natural part of the creative process, so we offer up to three free revisions for each illustration. If you require additional changes beyond that, we'll work with you to make them for a small fee, typically ranging from $5 to $10 depending on the extent of the changes needed. Our goal is to ensure that you're completely satisfied with the final illustrations.

Updates and Review: We understand the excitement and anticipation of seeing your book come to life, which is why we provide updates every two days. Our preferred channels for communication include Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Zoom, so you can easily stay in touch and provide feedback throughout the illustration process.

Final Delivery: At the very end you will get the final print-ready pdf copy and an e-book version. All copyrights will be completely yours after the final payment.

Book design: Once all the illustrations are complete, we will carefully assemble the pages and integrate the text to create a seamless reading experience. Additionally, we will design an eye-catching cover with a title that perfectly captures the essence of your book.

Payment Process

Our payment process comprises four steps:

Initial deposit: A deposit of money is required to initiate the work.
Sketching deposit: After the final sketching stage, an additional deposit of money is due.
Color deposit: Following the completion of the final color stage, another deposit of money is required.
Final payment: The remaining balance is to be paid upon completion of the entire book.
